Vanomobil chooses the sustainable path
Vanomobil looks for ways to minimize our impact on the planet. We initially started by drawing up a plan for our rental service. From 2023, we will focus on two pillars: on the one hand, reducing CO2e emissions from our rental fleet, and on the other hand, compensating for unavoidable CO2e emissions. But we can't do it alone! We count on our customers to join us in choosing the most sustainable and ecologically responsible path! This is the deal we propose: we (Vanomobil) are the first in the sector to travel to the land of sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship and you (our customers) only have to follow in our footsteps and follow our signposts!

❤ CO2e COMPENSATION OF THE UNAVOIDABLE EMISSIONS
Even if you manage to limit your mileage, CO2e will still inevitably be released into the atmosphere. That is why we have also provided the option for CO2e compensation. Vanomobil wants to be a partner with its customers in this and is willing to pay half of this compensation! The compensation is entrusted to Greentripper, who will ensure that the compensation is correctly allocated to our chosen drinking water project in Rwanda. We realize all too well that all CO2e emissions are irreversible and this compensation does not provide a long-term solution to climate change. Yet we are convinced that we can make an important difference for people in Rwanda.

❤ COMPENSATION FOR MILES NOT DRIVEN
Informing is one thing, but to really motivate our customers, we offer compensation for the kilometers not driven. Last year, our rental campers covered an average of 190km/day. To lower this average, we reward every rental customer who manages to stay below that daily average.
